A high water table on an office tower site created challenges balancing parking count requirements with the desire to create as much as structured parking as possible while still satisfying the project proforma. An initial decision on the parking solution was critical as it formed the base of design. Using advanced 5D BIM approximating and scheduling models, Nauzaav designing led a series of multi-disciplinary focus groups quickly evaluate over 16 possible options, resulting in the ending cost-optimized scheme.

Optimizing Vertical Transportation Design to Put Money Back into the Budget
